Some of people belongs to this Lahang or Lahangey or Lahanga or Lahnge or Lahnga subcaste also found in Punjab state of Pakistan. Lahang or Lahangey or Lahanga or Lahnge or Lahnga falls under 84 gotra (broad division) of Kamboj caste. Lahang or Lahangey or Lahanga or Lahnge or Lahnga sub-caste alongside other Kamboj / Kamboh people belong to the group of Indo-Aryan peoples.
