Ch. Harkisan Lal Kamboj - A well-known landlord and MLA

Chaudhari Harkisan Lal Kamboj was Son of Chaudhari Sobha Ram Kamboj. He belongs to Vinayak gotra / subcaste of Kamboj lineage. He was having 1 Brother: Lal Chand Kamboj and 3 sisters: Jatto Bai, Ram Devi and Karm Devi. He was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Rori constituency two times in the row in the year 1968 and then 1972. He was a congress man. He was well-known personality in the Kamboj community and big landlord of Sirsa. He was born on March 28, 1909 at Dharmewala, District Montogomery (now in Pakistan.) He was married to Smt.
