Ch. Daulat Ram Kamboj took over charge as Chairman District Planning Board

Ferozepur 8, October: The newly appointed Chairman, District Planning Board, Ch.Daulat Ram Kambob will take take over on October 10 at 1 PM, at District Adminstrative Complex. In this ceremony, Punjab BJP President Kamal Shrma, Cabinet Minister Janmeja Singh Sekho, Madan Mohan Mittal, Ch.Surjit Kumar Jiyani, MP Sher Singh Ghubaya, MLA Joginder Singh Jindu, Hari Singh Zira, Vardev Singh Maan and in good number of Akali-BJP alliance central leaders and religious personalities will participate. Prior to this, at 10 AM, Ch.Dualat Ram Kamboj will be honoured by the various organizations. After paying obeisance to Shaheed Udham Singh, he will taken to Distt. Administrative Complex in a caravan where he will take over as Chairman, District Planning Board. It is pertinent to mention that Ch.Daulat Ram Kamboj, belongs to village Thathera in Block Guruharsahai had a long standing in politics and active since 1962. Before this, he had been a Sarpanch in the village, member of Block Samiti and Zila Parishad. He had also contested elections on Jan Sangh and BJP tickets from Jalalabad and Guruahrshai Assembly constituencies. He has also served as Director Punsup from 1999 to 2001 and remained Editor, Jai Kamboj for 22 years.
