Kirpal Singh Dardi was born on December 29, 1936 and is a renown historian and author. He wrote several books on the history of Kambojas and Punjab in the Punjabi language.
He wrote a very good book in Punjabi language on the history of Kambojas titled “The Kambojas Through the Ages” (KAMBOJ- YUGAN DE AAR PAAR), is a latest research book (Published November 2005) . He has also written another excellent research book on “Bhai Mani Singh Shaheed” (Published January 2004) whom some unscrupulous people like Giani Giani Singh Dullat (a Jat) and later Giani Garja Singh (A vanjara Rajput) had erroneously claimed from their own respective lineages. S. Kirpal Singh has neutralized one by one the false and fabricated claims of these two unscrupulous Giani ji’s with regard their false and fabricated claims on Bhai Mani Singh Shaheed, who belonged in fact to the Kamboj lineage as is unequivocally attested by his contemporary learned writer Bhai Kesar Singh ji Chibber. (Bhai Kesar Singh Chibber was son of S Gurbakash Singh Chibber, the Daroga of Harimandir, wher Bhai Mnai Singh was serving as Granthi).
Both these books excellent works and are worth reading. We highly recommend them for those who know how to read Punjabi.
